12) 24-hour Rule:

a) 24-hour Rule: Should a parent/student feel the need to reach out regarding an artistic decision such as casting, placement, audition results, etc., parents must wait 24 hours from the moment the issue arises before writing a polite email to the School's Administrator, Toni Auriemma . Your message will be relayed to the Artistic staff and a response will follow. If you reach out in writing, over the phone, or in person during the initial 24-hour period, your message will not be taken. We are imposing this 24-hour rule to give everyone time to absorb information and think through the next steps before diving in and seeking clarification. It is a rule that is successful with other institutions and we are asking all our families to respect it moving forward.

b) If a parent/student needs to address something, following the 24-hour rule, please contact Toni Auriemma and your question/concern will be addressed. DO NOT engage the faculty with regard to placement, casting, audition results, etc. These matters are to be addressed by the directors only.

13) Responding to NJBS Communications:

If NJB School sends something out that requires you to respond, please respond. If you are required to read, sign and return something, like the School's Student Handbook, then please do so in a timely manner. Anything NJB School requires of you is important, so we respectfully ask you to treat it as such.

14) Tuition & Balances:

a) NJB School understands sometimes there are circumstances that arise that impact a family’s financial situation. Under these circumstances, communication is key. Please contact Toni Auriemma so the School can work with you to hopefully help your child continue their training.

b) If you are passed due on any bills, NJB School will be instituting a warning system, under which you will be given ample time to respond. The warnings will be in writing and they will be very clear. If you do not respond, the student in question will not be allowed to take classes until the issue is resolved.
